Este înfățișat Palatul Suțu frontal, edificiu construit între 1833-1834 de Costache Grigore Suțu. Acesta este construit în stil neogotic, cu etaj, vis-a-vis de Turnul Colței. Astăzi este încadrat de clădirile din jurul său, mult mai înalte decât palatul. Artistul surprinde fațada din bulevard, din fața Bisericii Colțea. Strada este animată de grupuri de pietoni. Tonul general este cel al coexistenței în țesutul orașului a diferitelor straturi de istorie. Lucrarea este semnată în dreapta jos cu negru „GH. LEAHU”.

The work depicts Suțu Palace frontally, a building constructed between 1833-1834 by Costache Grigore Suțu. It is built in a neogothic style, with an upper floor, facing Colței Tower. Today it is flanked by much taller surrounding buildings. The artist captures the façade from the boulevard, in front of Colțea Church. The street is animated by groups of pedestrians. The overall tone reflects the coexistence of various historical layers within the city fabric. The work is signed in black at the bottom right: “GH. LEAHU.”
